The coaches form part of the AIS Summit Program – an initiative that aims to establish an inquiry-focused participatory culture and encourages HP coaches to connect and collaborate.

AIS HP Coach Development Advisor Associate Professor Paul Perkins said: “The event provided coaches with authentic and meaningful professional development opportunities through a more social approach to learning”.

“It was a wonderful experience and another great example of the ways in which coaches from the program have been able to generate their own unique views and perspectives whilst also contributing to the construction of new actionable knowledge and know-how".

“One of the highlights was having coaches Colin Batch, Anthony Potter and Rob Hammond invite fellow Summit coaches to observe the Kookaburras training sessions and gain an understanding of the culture they’ve built around the team.”

The coaches also attended the Australian Diving National Championships and were given an exclusive wheelchair basketball session with fellow Summit coach Brad Ness.
